Yeah. Happens all the time. The dead giveways are...
1) the winning bidder in the first auction has bought several items from the Seller (maybe ONLY from the seller). It's definitely a bogus or buddy's acct. to end the auction and/or pump up their positive feedback. 2) the winning bidder has bought (0) items before 3) Seller and buyer might have different screen names, but when you go to ask them a question, the same email account or an account from the same domain comes up. It's fishy and probably bending the rules a little, but not always a scam. It makes you five times as wary, on top of how wary you should be when shopping on eBay. It sounds like you're like me. One suspicion, one blip on the radar is too many. |

*sniff*sniff* Do you smell that?
I do. Something's smelling a bit fishy. Ask him to take new photos and e-mail them to you.
