i realize its not up to our northern brothers flukin, but not bad for a half day trip in the bay dodgin jet skis, boats, and a 20 knot wind.

Phat, you got to come to Sebastian Inlet. I've seen 17 lb flounder taken from shore at the inlet. I've never had that luck though. I miss fishing at Chincoteague.

used to surf there in the 70's, never fished though. spent many a night under the bridge. there used to be a good spot north of the inlet called spanish house that had a good break also.

ahhhhh the memories of a mispent youth.

I think the gulf flounder are the smaller cousins. a 6 pounder is quite a feat.



this is one my son, jake caught last year. that is a 105 qt cooler it is laying on
