Getting ready to install disc brakes on a tandem axle trailer. If I only put brakes on one axle, does it matter if its the front or rear axle?

most are on the front but it shouldn't matter except when under heavy braking the load will shift forward and apply more weight on the front axle and trailer tongue.

Well, I put them on the rear because thats where the old drums where. It is easy enough to change though, I will let you know how they work out. Thanks for the help.
