Ok, I finally got to work on the V this past weekend.

Problem is, now I have two weekends in a row that I will not be able to work on her. First repair, bilge access covers. The old owner just had plywood covering the holes. I had some Home Depot trexlike material leftover from a set of cellar doors I replaced. I put them together then routed the edges round, and painted them with the paint that grips to plastic. ![]() No picture, but I did pull out the on engine trim switch. had to pry it apart, cleaned the contacts and epoxied back together. Works like a charm now. Stayed tuned and as I repair items, I will post before and after picks.

			Thanks for all the comps,

more repairs to follow. Hey Willy, the engr degree is only helpful for measurements. I am a natural born tinkerer, one day, my mom came home from work to find that at the age of 10, I took apart our old B & W TV. She yelled, I put it back together and it worked better than ever. My dad worked in construction, so I picked up a lot of building pointers from him. I worked with metals, so with all my experience, the degree is just a piece of paper.
