A sheepshead is a little(not so little sometimes) piece of *culinary heaven, if you know the tricks to cleaning and cooking them. (they got a bone or 2) They usually live around rocks, pilings or anything else that holds oysters or barnacles, seem to prefer shallower water, 5-25 feet. They bite very very very softly.....I usually end up feeding them instead of catching them ;D

it looks like what us northerners call a porgie [or scup] it almost has the same overall shape and fin arrangement...colors are different. Thanks Mirage2521

"Heads" get much bigger than the scup you're talkin' about...and they have a mouthful of molars that resemble human teeth...one thing that makes 'em hard to HOOK.... :)...
