Nice fluke. Guess the draggers left a few for us. I know it's been a tough year with the water temps being low for a bite and dtaggers scooping up all the good ones. Good to hear u scored.

Got humbled again yesterday, Saturday Aug 16.

Figured I'd fish the SH beaches, and had lots of action on shorts, tons of sea robin, two huge sand sharks.........and two keeper fluke. Maybe caught n released 30 - 40 fish.

Back at the dock - one boat comes in and tossed at least four 6 - 8lb class fluke onto the dock along with several other nice keepers. I kid you not, looked like small halibut. Said they were in a tourney, and didn't win .....winning fish was nearly 10 lbs. Don't know where they fished, or how they fished, but wow.

Other boats at ramp had from zero to a couple keeoers.
Big fluke are out there.......
