From the first center consoles to leading-edge fiberglass techniques, the spirit of independence and innovation has driven Wellcraft from day one. In fact, over the past five decades, Wellcraft has built more than 100,000 fishing boats, demonstrating expert craftsmanship and providing the peace of mind boaters have come to expect from Wellcraft. So when it s time to wet some lines, crank up the tunes and enjoy a great day with the family, remember where it all began. Because when you own a Wellcraft, you re gonna catch yourself some fun!

I have seen this boat in person. The transom bows outwards. They want way too much for a soft transom. I looked at this boat to show my wife that this is the hull design that I want to find and fix up. Thankfully, she liked that boat design. I am in the clear down the road only if I get a new motor. Gotta love her........

gvp5 - the transoms on these boats are made curved from the factory. Is it bowed out more than the original curve? Or just flat out rotted and soft or what?

Well, I didn't think it looked normal compared to other boats I have owned or seen. I was going to jump on the motor, but the guy working there was not happy we were in the back area, so we left without further investigation. The store has a decent reputation and a lot of customers. I hear good things about them. So I guess it was just my mistake. I still think for the avg. condition it is in, seems pricey. G..

Hey guys, I just want to appoligize for speaking out of turn about said boat. I hope I didn't insult the dealer or any of you guys. I am in the learning stage and maybe I should listen a little more than judge before true knowledge has been aquired. Sometimes I speak before thinking, my fault. The dealer has a good reputation and I do not want to smudge that because of my ignorance. I just wanted to say, I goofed up. I hope to learn more from this sight and say little until I can properly present truths, not guesses. Again, sorry about the quick judge, I will do better next time. I still love this sight, G.........................
