Default On its way...

I thought I already posted this, but now I cant find it, so if it is a double, I apologies
Well, you all know I sold the V and bought a Steiger Craft 18'

Well I pulled the engine and all of the cleats off (I ordered all flushmount cleats)

I moved the 30 gallon gas tank to in front of the console, and toying with diffrent ideas for a bulhead/bench seat. They are also making me a fiberglass "shield/cap for the cables

Also got a new 2008 E-tec and a new fishing buddy

Well a funny story, when I bought the boat I was told it had a 25" transom so I ordered a 25" shaft for the engine..... a few hours after I drop the boat off I recieve a call," ahh, this is a 20" transom" Dowwwww
Well since the engine was already paid for and registered we had to imprevise and make a braket for the engine

Wich ended up working out for the better because if the shorter transom becomes a issue I can easily resolve it
A few more pics

I am also going to mount pole holders to the front of the console above the tank, sort of like the Whaler Montauks.. I have a new Lawrance 515c sonar on the way,A B/W Lawrance GPS/SONAR, new wind shield, and a few more odds and ends. I am planning on putting on a T-top and leaning post this winter, but maybe sooner if something comes along

Did you remove the lettering from the sides? It looks so much better without. I like the clean look.

I also can't wait to hear how she performs. Stripers coming your way Sean. few showing up at West Wall and various other locations. Some dinks up this way. You can probably get out there now for some 'Tog.

Sean, very nice buddy. Hey, is that a crack on the inside of the transom? Why did they need to use the starboard to mount?

Like it a lot man. That 18 looks much bigger than other 18's. I think it has something to do with the profile of the hull. I like it.
