Default Started on the garden...

We started this past weekend. Took me ALOT of work to get this area prepped and all the grass cleaned off.

Lexie stayed out there planting with me planting (and Lana UNPLANTING) for over two hours.

That girl was kickin butt and takin names. I showed her how to space the plants with a stick and she took off after it. A buddy stopped by the house so I got distracted and by the time he left she was done.

She planted several bannana and jalenpeneos by her self. She loved it! I was on the ground kneeling when Lana walks over to me and Lex and says "here daddy I got one"

I look up and its a tomato plant. "I planted all the tomatos" I thought to myself.

I look up and theres one missing in the row.
No no Lana, we dont UNPLANT em....here lets go put it back. LOL

Heres a couple pics....

A shot of the whole garden.

We got a whole lot left to do, but we are having a blast with it so far!

Im a blessed man.

My kids like the garden too. Too wet this weekend. Maybe next.

PS - After a couple of good rains there should be some arrowheads laying around in that dirt.

Thats a great looking garden area! Are you watering the whole thing by hand through the season?

I have some good sprinklers I am going to setup. 1-2 will cover it all depending on how much we plant. We were just doing it by hand the first time. Plus she wanted to water em first herself so i said "go for it!". LOL
