Default Doc Marten's boots/shoes

I recently bought a pair of the pull on work boots and I love em! They are way more comfy than my wolverines I had before. :D

Anyone ever try em?

I have these except in brown: 8)

I have a pair of Doc Martens lace-up steel toes boots that I wear for work. They really take the stress of being on my feet for 12 hours every night. I also have Wolverines which are very comfortable as well but the sole material of the Doc Martens give a bit more cushion. I go through a pair of boots in about 6 months time at work. The company supplies us with one pair a year so unless I convince my boss to write me a voucher for a new pair, I buy one/year. Timberland Pro Series have lasted the longest so far but are not the most comfortable and they are considerably heavier than the Doc Maartens or Wolverines which will also take its toll on a 12 hour night on your feet all night.
Even the late Pope John Paul wore Doc Martens! ;) ;D 8)

I know, I know. I've gone and shattered that financially independent image everyone had of me. Rubbing elbows with the Kennedy's down at the yacht club in Hyannis and all (That's MJ's gig). But, yes, it's true. I do work. Shhhhhhhhhhh. Don't let it get around will ya? Let everyone keep the wealthy image of me. ;) ;D

IMO Redwings are the best, pricey but last long too.

I'll have to give them a try next time around. They have those on the safety shoe van that comes to my company once a month too. ;)

I've got a pair of these now, waterproof too. very comfy. I think I paid around $120 a few years ago. I used to work on ships and 12-18 hour work days on steel decks were murder on my feet. Redwings helped a lot!

When you buy these at a Redwing store they have a machine that measures your feet. You get exact width, my duck feet are "EE". Made in USA too.

The best thing about Red Wing shoes are that they are American made. They are pricey but at least the money is staying here. Bill Mc ;D

After 20 yrs of torture wearing military issued boots (UGH) I have discovered the almost orgasmic comfort of Timberline boots and shoes...it's about 45 minutes to the outlet store in Destin and my tootsies are in heaven
