Default Replacement Seat Question

All,

I am going to replace the "back to back" seats today. My 100 quart cooler has been vetoed by the wife in favor of the seats. Can anyone tell me the specs that the boat originally came with as to height, width etc ?? Any help is appreciated.

Default Re: Replacement Seat Question

I have trial and error knowledge about back to back fold down seats. All the seats I looked in the stores were to narrow, and low . Bought West Marine best seat $369.99 minus coupons, seem to be close to the seats in our boats. WRONG! to low, frame for seat was plastic, but the frame that mounted to and attached to floor was plywood? Sold that never used seat for $50. Purchase a seat from Boaters World CATALOG 2004 PAGE 306 B&M Seating Designer Stow-A-Way Series $279. This seat is 3 inches higher than all the rest, and the seat area is long and wide enough that your not sliding off. Both the base and seat frame are plastic (no rot), and there is a side door that gives access for storage like the wellcraft seat. I'm 6'-286 lps sit comfotable and did't break it yet.Pick it up at the store no shipping. Crusher

Crusher,

Thanks a lot ! It's folks like you that make life easier. I don't have a boaters world near me that I know of but I can get the dimensions off their webpage !!

Thanks,
Tom
