there's a couple of them on this site. But is that a car motor or marine motor. if it's a car motor you'll have to change the cam to a marine cam. if you don't the motor at idle will suck water back up the exhaust into the motor due to valve over lap and duration.

there car motors with roller cams i new i would have to change them along with all the tin but its the mounting of the block to the boat i had that 470 with the front mount i would have to see the work that would have to be done for the small block to work and then what about HP i build these motor,s for short track racing that i never did they are up there in HP maybe a little to hot but i have the stock pistons for it

Interesting discussion. I was always under the impression that a car and boat motor rotated in opposite directions, and that was the need to replace the cam (and starter). Not that water could be sucked in through the exhaust?

BRASS FREEZE PLUGS, WATCH YOU DIPSTICK LOCATION - IT MUST CLEAR THE RISERS AND MANIFOLDS, MOTOR MOUNTS AT SECURED BY LAG BOLTS IN THE STRINGERS, USE PLENTY OF BEDDING COMPOUND ( 5200 BY 3M) AND COAT THE BOLTS ALSO. I WOULD ADD A REMOTE OIL FILTER AND OIL CHANGE HOSE

...and by the way, you'll need stainless head gaskets, and a marine water pump also... yeah it iwill run without these ... but they will both fail ,,, at the worst time!
