Having just taken the boat out for the first time last weekend, I noticed something I hadn't before. When the boat's on the trailer, it's supported by the bunks and touching only the forward-most keel roller. I kinda' thought more keel rollers should support the hull weight, and the bunks are more for keeping the boat from rolling side to side.
How are your bunk trailers set up? |

Mine sits on the rollers and is supported by the bunks like you are talking about.

I replaced my bunks this summer. *Not a hard job. *My keel does not touch the rollers while siting on the bunks. *Trailer was sold with the boat as the Sport package. *Here's a photo. *Bill Mc ;D

That photo was taken in March of 2004. It was cold but it was rain and not snow, We had pulled the wheels and tires on the starboard side. They checked out good so we just shot some grease into the port side hubs and off we went back to Detroit from Lorain, Ohio about a 3 hour trip. My brother in law drove while I dreamed I was in heaven with my V20! Bill Mc ;D

The boat has had 3 owners. First owner called it Great White and had the Shark and Great White painted on. See gallery. Second owner had it one year and removed Great White. I bought it in 2004. I liked the Shark but the kids and wife did not. Ergo no Shark. Lake Erie has no sharks anyway. Boat has always been kept on a trailer or second owners rack storage. I like it that way. Wax it in the spring (sorry MJ) and don't worry bout it the rest of the year. Bill Mc ;D
