Thanks for the info there. Yep, looks like its gonna be a little bumpy but we can always slide over to Mann's Harbour bridge and pluck schoolies around the pilings worst case scenario.

About the north vs. south. I'd personally rather take a beating on the way out for a nice ride home. 8)

I's just thinkin' it might not be so bumpy to the South ? ... looks like N wind could be blocked close in...

Oh, I see. Only problem there is the massive bodie of fish are going to be north most likely. Right now there are good reports coming in from the Rudee inlet area and even south of Rudee.

Wednesday evening around 5 ish. *8) *

11 of us going. *Four will be on my boat. *Four on another (Kencraft Challenger 206 CC w/200 Evinrude and 3 in another (19ft Grady White Tournament w/150 Yamaha).

Staying in Nags Head in a really really nice house (with pool table). $65 per person pays for the whole trip! *And a nice lil waterin hole about 3 miles away. *Cheap cab ride *:D

We've got all day Thursday, Friday and Saturday to try it out! *;)

We do some phenomenal eating on these trips too! *I'll probably gain 20 lbs! *::)

I'll give my report on 12/18. *

Hey Blue have fun. Looks like the biggins have started to show at the OI shools. Heard they throwin pink and blue Bucktails with success. Mirrolures sound side. Go due east of Manns B about 200 yrds, north side of shore, couple nice holes that always hold a few soundies. BOL!

Yeah I've been seeing the slobs they are catching on the shoals. But I gotta say those shoals are not where I wanna be! I'd rather run 40 miles up the beach if I have to! Shallow water and waves scare me. I don't like to have to pay that much attention to which way the boat is pointed. I just hope the fish move further south by the weekend. We'll see.

Oh and thanks for the tip on Manns ;)

Well boyz, all indications are they have moved a bit further south. We will still be looking at probably a 30 - 40 mile run 1-way just to get to the meat, but that's life. I don't really care, but for peace of mind I'm thinking about taking my portable 12 gallon tank for extra fuel. :-/ It has old gas in it right now and I'll have to siphon it into another tank that I have just to be able to take it. ::)

So with my 60 gallon tank, I would have an additional 12 gallon tank and another 6 gallon tank with pre-mix for my kicker.

Realistically, about 75 gallons. Even if I only got 2mpg, I'd have 150 mile range, so should be a - ok.

The main part that sucks is that we will spend more in gas money :(
