power head
well fellas to maks a long story short my 2007 e-tec needs a new powerhead , sould have it back by next week end. thank god for that 7yr warranty :-/
oh by the way the computer says Ive got 50 hours on the engine :-/

ok sawdust, i'm gonna do you a favor.
deliver to me you boat with the new motor and i will reluctantly give mine to you. it runs like its brand new and comes with a hardtop. (which i will remove before you get here). you will have no more problems with the motor and she runs out at about 50 something mph.

seem that there was supposed to have a software update for the oil injector and I was never notified from evinrude or my dealer and the dealer seems to think Iam running the wrong prop.
I have to tell ya the dealer thats fixing the motor is NOT where I bought it !!! couple weeks ago it started knocking so I pulled it out of the water brought it to the guy I purchased the motor he had it for a day and a half he changed some filters and plugs and said it was running fine so the next day I put it back in the water and its still makin same knocking noise so I contacted another local dealer and this is what they found. btw ctt yesterday you could have bought my v cheap but today price is back up to 25,000 I hope no one ever offers me that....lol

wow lumber, that sucks.....I think that's the first new E-tec I've heard of going bad.....sorry it happened to you. Sounds like you'll be back in the water soon enough with no out of pocket expense....thats big ;)

Lumber, you'll be wet again next weekend, with the right prop, the right software, and the Etec running RIGHT. Makes a little more sense now, because I was wondering why your numbers were so close to MAC's with an extra 50 ponies.
Bet your gonna luv her even more ;D
