Test drove '88 V20 (great condition) with original 225HP Evenrude & trailer. Boat looks good & Motor runs good.
Trim tabs don't work, bilge pump is shot. Bimini is good, but no enclosure. It's got a VHF and depth. NADA say $5,200, BUC says $6,000. Please let me know what you think it is worth. ??? PS It's the fastest v20 I've ever seen 8) ;D |

If its in real good shape $6000 would be in my opinion top end. Start low you and always counter upward. I bought mine last year for $6500.

What Mac said. That sounds like a good boat. I'd like to see what a 225 would do. 20 bucks for a bilge, 500 for a good gps. Has the boat been in salt? If so your probably looking at fuel tank soon which is about 500. Try offering 4500 and see what happens.

Thanks for you input. I made an offer -- we will see how serious the seller really is. ;D
Other than the smell of gas -- how do you check the gas tank? Pressure test? ??? |

I'd give 6 Gs just to push the throttle on a V20 w/a 225... :o...GGGGGG...there you go...6Gs...now where's that boat...negotiate, get best price you can and buy it... ;) ;D...
