Old gear
IMG_0457.jpg Hi guys, was cleaning out my basement today and came across an old rod I picked up 20 years ago..anyone have an idea how old this rod mite be ?

I have no real idea, but my GUESS would be 1920's-1930's. My dad had a few like that and I think that's when his were from.

I have a similar rod but it has a cork grip. My grandfather gave it to me. An old man we used to fish with when I was a kid used to use it all the time. He used to sand and varnish it every year. When he passed away my grandfather got it and gave it to me. I used it a few times but just hung it in my wall now. I wonder how many fish were caught on it? The old man was a hell of a fisherman.
