I think attwood used to sell one that angled up, gull wing style, Ive had good luck with those as they tend to casue less drag once you are on plane, most of the foil is out of the water at that point. They also dont seem to make your boat list at low speed either(Ive seen a number of boats do that when foils were installed)

I wouldn't suggest any of them... Go with tabs...
If you can't afford regular tabs look into smart tabs... Not much more money than a fin but much better. |

I like the quick install of the hydrofoil and yes the price.
Anyone using the SE Sport 300? |

Not on a v20, but I've always used the stingray classic hydrofoil on my jon boats and skiffs. I'm looking into possibly going with the se300 on my current skiff to try and stop my porpoising. Why are you looking into one? A prop change may be better suited depending on your problem. Tabs are a better option as they are selective and can compensate for uneven loads as well as improve the ride in rough water.

I have the se on my v20 cuddy with 175 Johnson '95 it mainly helps getting out of the hole quicker and smoother and allows me to stay on plane at slower speeds it helps mostly at medium to slow speeds and is less noticeable at high speeds (smooths the ride and helps some with trim) I have had it for many years and it has taken knocks the color has faded some white to grey
