Default Bought my old boat back

I am once again an official member of the V20 forum. It has been a few years 2008, but I bought one of my old V21's back from a coworker.

1996 V21 140hp 4 stroke Johnson/Suzuki only about 100 more hours then when I had it 7 years ago.

The boat had a soft spot in the floor when I sold it. The spot is the same size as it was before and has not grown. The transom is solid and so are the stringers. I have been told that the soft spots were common to the V21. Let me know if anyone near VA wants to do the work.

I would love to find a hardtop for this boat.

I kind of wanted an 18' V. I had a 18' Parker that I wish I never sold.

My 2310 Parker and 25 Topaz don't get used much. Not sure if I will use the V21 enough to justify keeping it.

The V21 is a solid boat that I planned to keep long term when I was building it. If I could get a used Hardtop I may keep long term. The V21 has that Carolina Flare that many more expensive boats can't beat. My Parker and Topaz are nicer but they are much more expensive boats.

I am happy I got the boat back just wish it did not have bottom paint. The Johnson 140 4 stroke is a great match not overpowered but not a dog.

Getting a quote on the floor tonight. I don't know what a fair price is for this kinda of work. I heard some say it is a days work for a pro and some say it is 2 days work. The floor's core is weak near wear the rear bench seat was installed and over the gas tank. No supports in the hull over the soft spot.... stringers and transom are solid
