Default Inline 4 Yamaha 200

Not that I can afford one, but how do y'all think this newer 4 stroke will work on a V20?

The weight is going to be a issue! I had the 225hp 4 stroke yamaha and it was close to 600 pounds and way to heavy for the Sea Ox. I would go with the etec myself if you are looking for that power. But a nice f150 would be my choise!

The new F200 inline 4 is the same basic engine as the F150, but with a 2MM larger bore. So the weight will be within 10 pounds of the F150 probably(YAMAHA actually lists the F200 as being lighter than the F150).

Ferm beat me to it on teh weight issue(I think its 480?), but the Yamaha 200 and the Mercury 200 have very similar weights and performance. The existing 150 Yamaha has always been a strong performer. I haven't looked over a new 200 yet, but it seems like it would be the perfect motor for a V
