|  Prop selection questions 
			
			My 84 V20 cuddy has a 1989 YAMAHA 150 2 stroke on her , I's running a 17 pitch aluminum prop that came with the boat, any thoughts on the best prop for this V   Thanks

			Truthfully, sounds like you're just about dialed in with that prop.  Of course you can experiement around and try a 19p Alum, or a 15p Stainless, depending on what you're trying to do, but for my money a 17p is a good all around prop for a 150 engine.  How close are your tach revs to factory specs @ WOT?  That will tell you if you need to make some changes.

			I was thinking about a stainless steel prop , but I have seen the kind of damage can be done to your lower unit if you hit an object HARD . were an alumin prop's blades flex and break off the stainless props are much stronger and do a lot of damage.
