Default Ever take one over the bow ?

Anchored off NJ Highlands a few miles offshore in mostly 2' - 4' ocean chop.

Tide vs wind was making it rougher and chop was steep.

A bigger set hit and " what the heck " right over the bow, splashed up and partly over the windshield and into cockpit.

Oh - time to pull anchor............now would be a good time.

Oh yeah, just as you said, tide vs wind, except I was in Port Royal Sound which can get pretty rough. Anchor was set deep. I thought we were going to have to leave it!
