Finishmasters has a very good buffing compound. It is an all in 1 bottle of compound with three buffing pads. Worked better than the 3M system IMO. Start with a good cleaning and then go at it with the high speed with the aggressive pad. Then change pads for medium cut and final polish. Wax afterwards.

I use Aquabuff 1000 for most stuff and if you really want to shine Aquabuff 2000. http://www.aqua-buff.com/ You can't beat it and trust me I've tried them all at least once! You'll need a power buffer though or else you can expect quite a workout. Harbor Freight typically has 7" variable speed sander/buffer that goes on sale for $29.00 around this time every year that works great with a foam buffing pad. With a little effort you can get it will look like a mirror finish again. Kamikaze
