Virginia is for Stripers...
Fall fishing this year has been off the hook, but the timing has been a little off. Tog fishing was as good as ever, probably still is but everyone has been chasing striped mullet. Never really got on the Rocks until January, but O...M...G...it has been as good as it ever gets. 40" fish aplenty and all within 3 miles of the beach, kinda unusual around these parts. I know this thread is worthless without pics, so here are a few to tease my friend BlueRunner...
Not the best picture, but its raining gannets...  Momma got me a new Star Stellar Lite 6'6" MH that i put an old (30yo) abu 5500 on...  It takes a manly man to make a 44" fish look small. I gots to lose some weight...  Another little one...  And the new addition to our stable this year. We had more fun on this little thing...  Can't wait until the next trip. May have to bloody her up tomorrow.

Seriously, That's a nice hog you're holdin there. I wouldn't mind getting one or 12 of those on the end a me rod! Nice catchin! And eatin!

No BFT's for us. Have heard of a few in the area. We don't troll as a rule. We tend to cast or jig with 12-20# gear. I'm afraid a 300# charlie could get reel ugly reel fast...
