Default Skipjack Tuna

Did some fishing yesterday and came home with this, properly bled immediately upon catching.

They are great to fish and my old Sealine 600 was screaming, even with the drag almost all the way!

Heehee.... seeing the snowstorm they just got plastered with, I'm thinking it's gonna be a little bit colder than that. God has his own special way of punishing people that taunt us northern folk with fishing pictures......

Nice! Do they eat pretty good? A captain told me the bigger ones were pretty good and of course they use the smaller ones for bait.

Caught one this past summer on a teaser line hooked to the cleat. The night before I removed all of the hooks from the teaser lines - or so I thought. While I was busy fighting a fish my buddy yells there's a false albacore hitting the teaser. I didn't even look told him to yank it away and see if it will hit a hook bait. He yanked it in the boat LOL.
