I use Poli-glo get it on internet at boat stores, Alot less hassel, no buffing just wipe it on let it dry an your done, requires multiple coats.
The kit has a cleaner that removes the haze and then wash boat and put the Poli-glo on. I put on 6 coats by myself on my V and it took me about a hour.

Poli-glo - No Buffing????
Well that made me look into that Poli-glow stuff. Looks good but it ain't cheap. 60 bucks on ebay for a starter kit. Last stuff I used was some west marine wax that came with the boat, used it with my buffer. I wasn't impressed. Sometimes ya get what ya pay for...

I finished my Hull after the restore with Aqua-Buff 2000
Spread Aqua-Buff 2000 Compound and Polish on the surface to be compounded with a brush or cloth, several square feet at a time, and mist the surface with water. Immediately machine buff with a clean, damp lambs wool pad. Repeat the process to eliminate scratches from exceptionally hard surfaces. Should the compound become dry while being buffed, re-wet again by misting the surface with water. See this link for additional information http://www.duratec1.com/dp17-18.html I use this cheap buffer works like a champ http://www.harborfreight.com/cpi/cta...emnumber=92623 If you like PM me our address and I will send you some sample to you, I have a lot leftover :) I also have the 1000 this is my "wet sander".. |

I used 3M Fiberglass Restorer and Wax, about 10.00 a bottle. I applied it, misted with water in a spray bottle and used a buffer and wool pad first coat. Then ran second coat with water mist and buffer and polishing pad and was very pleased with the results! After all was done I gave it a good coat of wax, its held up great.

I use Starbrite PTEF Polish with Teflon on the Rosborough. We have a tough time with soot from the local coal powerplant settling on the boat. This stuff seems to make it easier to wash off the soot.
http://www.defender.com/product.jsp?...1453&id=939453 I also like the deck cleaner made by Starbrite. It seems to work better then Woody wax. http://www.defender.com/product.jsp?...1454&id=207273
