			Well - I'm no expert ..... but most people say the bracket should have a sealed cavity so it gives you some extra floatation to offset the extra weight hanging off the back of the transom.  If you are willing to try it without the flotation and dont need the fanciest, newest looking bracket - then it would probably be a good deal at $200 or so.
