Over the weekend, I was doing some re-wiring of my electronics.
I went to the local auto parts store to look for some quick connectors for my radio power. I couldn't find exactly what I was looking for, so the owner suggested posi-lock connectors. These are cool and they work great. Here's a link to check them out: http://www.posi-lock.com/index.html

I've seen those before...glad to get a 1st hand report and they sound good!!...gotta rewire my bait-tank wire this morning...if I didn't already have the conventional stuff, I'd like to give 'em a shot...they look pretty water-proof...don't see how h20 could get in...

They make them for watertight applications, but they are expensive.
The standard ones will probably work as long as they don't get really wet.

Really it's hard to imagine how water COULD get in there...it'd have to find it's way thru some pretty tight threads once the end caps are screwed in...

You betcha. I tried to pull apart the connection just to test it,
it felt like raw wire with no cut and splice.

I've used them. They used to sell them at Walmart. Not sure if they still do or not. Very easy to use.
