I was just curious, does my fuel primer bulb have to be after my RACOR filter or can I put it before, like in this sketch:

Sounds like it's prefered that it be located after the filter and closer to the motor.
http://forums.bateau2.com/viewtopic.php?f=10&t=19339 I had some clogging issues with junk in the fuel tank in my 67 Wellcraft and it helped to have the primer bulb after the filter as the filter caught the stuff which I would think could affect the bulb if you get junk in it possibly causing the valve to get stuck? |

I installed mine after the filter for the same reason, I do not want the check valve in the primer to be clogged

I was thinking about the filter comment and was wondering,
what if I put a small in line filter right before teh bulb?

I was thinking about this and I answered my own question - DAAAH
I put the RACOR filter in because my small in line filter kept clogging, if I put it back, I will be back to square one.
