Well, I got the motor freed up enough to install the new helm. Any tips for installation in a CC? Looks very tight.

Well, I got it done! New helm installed today, and I can steer again!!! It's still a little stiff, but it's nothing a little more heat and grease can't fix. It was REALLY EASY TOO!

No, the actual tube the engine turns on was seizing up. Took a lot of grease and a heat gun for about an hour and a half to get loose enough not to wreak the new helm. The steering cable and everything was fine. Just the main big turning pivot the engine sits on. If it was the cable I think I would have just scraped the cable all together and put in a hydraulic system. Luckily, I should be good for a couple of more years now.
