Splashed the boat Saturday mid day in some dense fog. Fog never really burned off all day. We had calm winds and 50* water. Fished for about 2 hours and scraped up for flounderz, all around 18" but no keepers (19" in VA this year). All in all, I'd call it a heck of a trip. Pictured is the first of season
![]() ![]() Edit to add: That was also the first fish caught on her custom rod (built on a St Croix Avid blank) from Christmas. One happy lady there....

Its a durn shame you can't keep an 18". What, do they want them to die of old age?????? Nice report.....BTW I can SEE THE PIC!! WOOHOO!!
