I saw that Slacker down at the Southeast Old Thresher's Reunion over the 4th. My family and I sell roasted corn down there and this is the 2nd year running skools has made an appearance along with his better half. His mom and dad were along this year too so 1st time I've met his mom, nice lady.

Anyway he seems to be doing pretty good. I know I'll be glad when he gets settled in to his new house so he can get back on the site to help our other resident experts diagnose those quirky outboard problems.

Oh, almost forgot...when he showed up at our corn tent he handed me an indian artifact - scraper tool - that he found while looking at a tractor at the festival. Anybody else would have walked right past it but he knew what it was and made it a point to give it to me. Pretty cool!

I've found 2 there over the years myself.

Skools is the coolest. Met him a couple years ago when I was down his neck of the woods. Glad to hear he's doin' okay and will be back.

I miss him, but if I think too long about it, I start crying.
