Default Trailer parts

I know we hit on this subject in the past, but I gotta replace the 3"x4" tubing/tongue on my project V. Need to replace it ASAP. Rusted bad on the underside. Dont wanna chance bringing home the V and having it snap. Big problem is I found one listing for a 8ft piece and it was well over 200 bucks. Cant afford that. Anybody have or know of any cheat trailer part dealers.
Need a 3" x4" x 8ft. piece of tubing/channel, whatever it called. Gotta get the boat out of teh boat yard asap. :'(

go to a local steel fab shop and just buy a piece of 3x4 steel tubing. you will have to drill matching holes and it will not be galvinized, but it will be 3 times as thick and you can paint later with trailer coat.

If I get to go home tonight I'll look in my shed. I had a trailer tongue in there, but can;t remember if I gave it away. If I still have it, its yours. Still gonna be at work for a while though.

Went to the metal fab shop today, they had it, but wanted over 200 bucks for it. I found a 3x3 galvanized tubing, but wanted the actual size. Unless I weld both pieces together.

I bought a 8 or 10 foot one from local Steel yard this was a few years ago, 5? They only charged me like $70

Had to paint and drill my own holes, but that was easy!
