AK, help me out here. I can't see the rocks well but it doesn't look like there are any marine organisims on 'em. That makes me think fresh water. The color of the trees/limbs near the water though look like there might be a tidal exchange arguing for a connection to the ocean. Where in AK are ya and what do you use that kayak for?

Looks like salt to me, bet the kayak is the only way in and out with the tidal flow, probably off a mother ship

Specialy with a name like "Halibut" cove. You don't find those in fresh water.

HEY tuna! we were in halibut cove lagoon about 6
miles from homer alaska picture was athigh tide
(almost) the kayak is to get to the mooring bouy!
there was nice deep area at the mooring bouy
we were in a hewescfaft22 ft searunner w cabin
nice boat! you can take awater taxi from homer
pretty cheap there is about 50 miles of hiking trails
near the cabin! and great seakayaking around the
whole area there is lots of marine life when the tide
is out! we had 2 kayaks on board.my buddy spike
proved very agile at getting in and out of the kayak
with out getting wet!
