I too have nfb and noticed the same thing the last trip out . I do not recall having it in there before . I am going to check my cables if I get out on the boat Sunday.

Step, my nfb is 3 yrs old...you got my curiosity up so I went out to check...w/ motor tilted up, wheel moves 3" til movement of motor, but w/ boat in the water might be a little different...play is in the box...had boat out other day, still runs straight as a string w/ no hands...so I'm not concerned... ;D...
