How come most outboard engines zinc/trim tab on the cavitation plate is never put on straight? ???
I'm just asking because I removed mine and cant remember exactly how it was :P Thanks!

because it adjusts for any pulling.

Its like getting a front end alinement, if you pull to the right, or left you adjust to go stright!
You will have to put in stright now and see if you get any pull and adjust from there.
