Hi !!!

Pestanas, our V20, needs a makeover, the "surgeons" (me) check list :

* New under coating ( antifoluling ) a most.
* Remove all Teak, sand ( had been painted white by prior owner ), re-oil, reinstall.
* Repair the sagging roof ( broken reinforcement beam inside roof ) NO IDEA YET !!!
* Rewire all wiring from batteries to steering area.
* Finally install ( properly ) the Garmin 76 and the 160 fish finder.
* Install new Nav lights all around.
* Replace all the mounting hardware for the bow`s handrail.
* Install custom made step to help climb from deck to bow, next to the cabin door.
* Replace water impeler on the Yamaha 200.
* Install a back up bilge pump.
* Have canvas made for forward section, from existing canvas roof to bow hand rail.

As far as the step up to above the cuddy , there was a post about a flip down step that was the same as what was on semi's and busses to gain access. Can't find the post. It was clean, easy and stainless.

Thanks for the info !!!
Thats a great idea. I might use that.
What I had in mind is a small box with a teak hinged top, kind a like a battery box size, so I can use it to store a spare battery.
