Saw this yesterday in Mt. Pleasant. '84 212 Chris Craft Scorpion. Good thing I don't have any room at the house or it would have gone home with me. The floor was good, transom seemed OK, but its hard for me to believe that any transom over 20 years old with this many holes doesn't need some work. Trailer is junk! Would make some one a good project, even needing a transom( looks like it wouldn't be a bad job due to the deck design). And by the way, its an 843 area code

There may not be that big of a difference between the V-20 and Scorpion, but the Scorpion hull is just cooler 8)

I took long hard look at the hull, I can't tell you the specifics, but it is a diifferent hull design(it does look cool), its close but its different. I'd have to park it beside a V to get the details

That is a nice looking boat.
Of course I don't even use mine so I don't need another.

Nice hull, but no bow rail. Would make a nice project boat for someone.

I looked at one a few years ago, the main difference i noticed was a little more head room in the cabin(Maybe 2 or 3 inches) and no splashwell in the rear. this made the cockpit look bigger than the v 20. i also have a friend with a chapperal that is very similar to a scorpion.

Theres one close by me that looks identical to it. They have that V20 look that I like. It looks like a good long term project boat for someone with plenty of time and money!

I looked at 1 of these near me ... before buying a V20. Nice boat - but one little detail turned me off to it. Might seem minor to some - but I like to be able to occassionally sit on the gunnel sides ? of the boat. This boat doesnt have a nice, flat area to sit on - has that raised, narrow surface - very uncomfortable.
