Yeah man, Willy got here monday morning just a little before 9:00 am.It was very cool having a V20 brother show up!!! We got our stuff together, climbed in the truck and made the long 1 mile journey to the boat ramp. My buddy JT came with us, Willy went into the tackle shop for some shrimp and a one day license. Me and JT unloaded the boat. We got it down to a science now. 2 minutes from when we start backing down the ramp and the boats wet and motor is running. Bill (Willy) and JT climed in at the end of the dock and off we went.
It was a little overcast, south wind at 5 to 10 - and heading for 80. We went north up the Indian River heading For Sebastian Inlet. JT and I had a good day saturday doing some trolling just outside the inlet, but nothing inside the inlet. We headed out of the inlet and turned north again. We set out a couple of strech 25's behing the boat. We worked water from 20' to 50' deep. Covered a lot of ground but no luck. We then scooted inside the inlet. I have a spot we fish on the outgoing tide. We anchored up right next to a V20 CC and dropped down some shrimp. The current was pretty strong so we had to use a couple of ounces of weight just to det it down. Bill had a couple of firsts for my boat. The first flounder and the first grouper. After that we caugt a mixed bag of little stuff, sheepshead and such. We celebrated by having the long awaited Killians Irish Red beer! Bill was generous enough to stock in a more than ample supply. But of course we used good judgement. We kinda went for a boat ride in the river looking for a likely spot to jump on some trout. Jan 1 was first day of trout season here. We fished some shallows, casting some shrimp under the mangroves ( Ask Bill about his killer new setup) be got a couple of little hits but no fish. We did see a manatee though. We started motoring out easy because it was really shallow in spots, like little sand bars or flats areas, we took a long while getting out of there. After that we headed back t the ramp, It was getting late afternoon and Bill still had to drive back to Orland. We hung out at the house for a little while before he headed out. I had a great time. Our big topic of conversation is how do we get a bunch of us together. It would be fun!!!

Trout jumped all over them, even snagged a big ole mullett - and I aint talking about Stinky's hair cut

I haven't had the pleasure of hooking a snook yet - thats the Florida replacement for a striper

I must most respectfully disagree, this is Florida's Striper stand-in ;D ;D ;)

Hey Franco you guys talking about me huh. Made it back in one piece Bud ;D I may have set a world record, Kissamee Fla. to Whitehouse Station NJ. 15 hrs 45mins. Ive been up for thirty hours straight, drove thru the night.
Let me tell you boys something, Capt. Norton is living in fishing Nirvana. And he lives on South Easy St. no less.
And as much as I hate to admit it he made a good choice with that Mckee Craft. That is a sweet boat. But he still dreams of V20's I can see it in his eye.
Franco thanks for a great day on the water, loved it. And I will post a pic or two when I get the film developed.
If you all get down Sebastian Inlet way I know a good guide ;D
