Just returned from Argentina.

Wow! What a place. Spent 2 weeks there and had a great time. Great people, food, wine and FISHING! I felt like I was another planet when we were deep down in Patagonia. Here's a couple of sample pics.

Camera is a Canon S60.

Here's Mount Fitz Roy. We were very lucky to see it, usually in the clouds. That's the town (if you could call it a town) of El Chalten. Founded in 1985. 188kms. of dirt roads to get there. It's a pretty cool place, year round population of 350. It's a place for die hard climbers and hikers.

Here's one of Spegazzini Glacier. It's over 400 feet tall and goes up for many miles into the Mts. Saw many glaciers and icebergs. They seem to be alive with the noises comimng from them. We saw huge hunks falling (called calving) into the water, what a sight!

see those little specs near the bottom of the glacier. Those a re some big boats!
