Default it only lasted a week....

till i got the urge again!!....i bought another boat today lol ;D
i think i have A.D.D. ..i havent even cleaned the sand out my motor yet ;D

i've been interested in the old fiberglass classics for the last couple months...and happen to find one about 5 miles from me ! went take a look at it today and took a few pics.....i was originally just gonna buy the motor to do a full restore then wait until i got to florida to find a hull..but the guy made me an offer i couldnt refuse....$50 for boat, motor and trailer!! i'm going pick it up tommorow if weather permits.....no brakes needed ...only 460lbs... :)

here's she is...a 1961 or 62 Glasspar Marathon (14 ft) with a 1961 or 62 Mercury 500 (50hp)....all original hardware in fairly decent shape......will most likely need all wood replaced..but thats no prob i look forward to learning how to do it....engine looked great..not locked...he says ran a couple years ago...

wanting to do a full restoration on her ...including re-chroming all hardware....cant wait to get started :) here's some pics taken with cell phone..will get some better ones when i get her home.

Well I am not one to critercise, But you drove 1400 miles for a 20 footer and backed down.

The you buy a 14 footer, that needs a ton of work that you want to restore??

It seems that your kind of confused these days??

Its great you want to rehab this boat, but what is the motivation behind this?

You trying to make money?? You going to use it?? Whats the use for??
You might be better to take all that cash and redo the 18 you have now!
Then you can be salt or fresh.

believe me that I am not picking on you!! Just you went from on exstream to the other in like a week?

Good Luck with this boat!!
