Was dreaming of what I would want if, if I wanted a bigger boat. I came up with a really bad idea. Looks as if it would be possible to take the last 4 feet off of a V-20 and make a V-24. While not an easy or inexpensive project, it would be very doable. If I had two V-20's of very close years and one had a bad transom.....
My wife would kill me Airslot How much was that 30 gallon epoxy kit?

In all seriousness, this kind of thing gets done all the time. If you go to a custom builder and want a slightly longer hull than whatever model they may offer, they can mold up an extra x number of feet and glass it right in. Neat idea.

Yes, it is fairly common. I know a guy that has done it several times. Right now he's converting a 38' Bruno commercial fishing boat into a 40'.
