				 cabin floor?

what is the original composition of the cabin floor? mine is just the woven and fiberglass now, but it appears there was some glassed in ply just above the hull (now rotted out or just stepped on too much). i'd like to put in a floor of some sort, i like the "bigger" feel of stepping down into the spacious ;D sheepskin clad enclave, rather than that front cushion. it is like being inside the outside of a tauntaun, unlike luke, who was on the inside of the inside. anyway, was thinking about flooring with some mahog over a layer of some resilient material ie rubber or neoprene to absorb the weight of stepping down, then running up to the cushions with carpeted ply, and hatching the two vertical sides to provide storage for lifejackets and jazz.anybody do this or some facsimile? what's your cabin floor look like?
