Oz your Buddy must have some duckets squirled away. Looked at their boats at the boat show here. Very nice but they suffer from the Boston Whaler Syndrome. I wondered how the ride was, looked like it was built for speed.

This is a real good friend of mine...so many stories over the last 30 years, can't remember 'em all...and yeah, the guy doin' the Everglade hulls did BW's prior to Brunswick movin' in...it's a fast hull w/ a 20* deadrise, so should be OK in bigger water, although our ride Thur was on Lake Hartwell on a calm day...one thing I can say, Merc redesigned the way an outboard attaches to a transom...the mounting bracket ain't like anything I've ever seen B4...and on FULL-THROTTLE outta the hole, ZERO...I mean ZERO movement of the motorhead...no lost motion at all...adding throttle will rock you back at any speed 8) ...

Yeah Tin...meant to mention that...the controls are SUPER SMOOTH and very precise...no clunkin' into gear...I ran it for a while and it's quite a difference...I guess my Honda is about as slick as cable operation gets, but the ''fly-by-wire'' makes mine feel like ''horse and buggy" ;) ...Merc's got their own hydraulic steering, too...wheels like Caddy 8) ...

Waht's up RAP?

Those Everglades are the bomb!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

My dream machine is the 211cc. Those boats are very well engineered. Those jump seats in the back are awesome. The fit and finish is superb.

Good to be back online.
