Default Got some work done today!

With the help of my son I got some stuff done today!

Got the cover off, and disasambled the frame work. *I made it all from 1 1/2 PVC. *Some parts are glued, and most screwed so that it comes apart for storage.

Then went to work replacing the old tank vents, they had plastic covers, one was lost and one was good, replaced with new Stainless ones.
Note that I have moved the vents up on the step down from the windshield, the old vents were under the rub rail, and when you trailer they leak gas out of them all the time!!
Did this years ago and have never leaked a drop again!!

Old

Friend Pete stoped by and my son working on the vents

Son taking a break

New Vents installed

Then it was off to the Tac, removed the Yamaha all in one and added this new to me off ebay one for the Evinrude. *Its not wired yet I have to get the harness but it is in!
And after inspection of my sons work it is stright now *:-/

Then it was off to replace all 20 rusty lug nuts with New Stainless ones.

Old

New

And were was I all day when my son was changing the Lugs?? *Supervising of coarse!!

Got to keep that foot up you know!!

Good job MJ.

I learned this winter that I have to work on my PVC winter cover supports.
I thought wire ties would be enough, but whne the cover rips and flops in the wind,
all bets are off.
