Default OH BROTHER!

Had my brother and his friend Joel come to town for a couple days. *Took them down to the CBBT for flounder and black drum yesterday on my friend Craig's boat. *Ended up with 10 nice flounder up to about 5 pounds and hooked up several black drum casting bucktails to them around the islands. We were done by 1:00 pm. *Good day of fishing, let them pull on all the big fish *;) * Had a good fish dinner last night.

Brother with one of the blacks.

Definitely a good day...so you just sight cast the drum? Pretty cool. I've never seen one cruising around. I've only caught a couple of the small ones b4.

Yeah we sight cast to them. Most days they wont bite but every now and then they will hit a bucktail if you can find a larger school of them. I think its a competitive feeding thing with them. *

Yes we catch them on crab and clam baits. MUCH more than on artificials.

Where did you catch the flounder, what tide, water depth, etc..? Going friday to the CBBT and any info would be a big help.

Nice drum! Here is a 50+ lber a couple guys in our club got this past weekend.

I love the smaller ones (less than 10lbs) for eating. They are great...just like giant whiting. ;)
