Default any way to use a 20" shaft motor on a bracket that requires a 25" shaft motor?

I am curious if theres any way to use a 20" shaft motor on my gill bracket that requires a 25" shaft motor.. Any kind of jack plate that lowers? Lots of 20" shaft motors around me cheap, but not a lot of 25"s in my price range.

On my 21 I used a 6" set-back manual jack-plate and it works, but I would NOT suggest using one on a bracket...recalling several past attempts at that, it buries the engine in the wake when the boat comes off plane to slow down...I wouldn't do it...sorry man...bust out a few more bucks and go for the 25"er...

Default I used one of these....

http://www.baymfg.com/

5 inch extension for your foot. Works very well. I went from a 20 to 25 on a bracket.

The website is quite lacking as far as pics and info are concerned. Can you give us some details including cost?

Thanks,
Curt

The Bay Kit includes a

5" Shift Shaft Extension
5" Drive Shaft Extension
5" Water Tube Extension

5" Aluminum Housing (Spacer)
Longer Studs

I've used several of these kits on Motors before and they work well. The kits are $600+ . . . You can save some $$$ by finding pieces on ebay.
