Well guys I just installed a new washdown pump and started hookin her up yesterday. I got the wiring done and put the power to everything, but got nothing to several items onboard. I started getting ill and reminding myself of how I SAID I was going to rewire this boat over the winter, but the deer hunting got in the way...AGAIN. ::)
Not long after my trouble shooting got me nowhere I blacked out. When I left the shop last night there was not a wire in the boat and a 55 gallon garbage can FULL of copper. :o Thatll teach it to mess with me! Time to rewire... ;D Which reminds me...anyone got that wiring diagram for the fuel gauge/sending unit? If so please post it. ::) Here is what it looked like...what a MESS!! ![]()

I believe the fuel guage sending unit uses only one wire and a ground. The ground terminal is obvious because it is not insulated. Connect the insulated terminal to the SND (or whatever they call it) terminal on the guage. The gauge should have a input/snd terminal, a +, and a GND. Just wire those up accordingly. There may also be a light on the guage. Bus bars and anything from Blue Sea Systems will make your wiring look professional.
