Ok no problem Charlie, and thanks for the explanation. I wasn't taking it overly serious anyway. Usually your posts crack me up but for some reason(lack of the link) I thought you were coming down hard on me and MJ. That woman who caught the huge fluke has my utmost respect and admiration. Any woman, or man for that matter, who can catch a fish that size is OK in my book. I also read the link you posted and I couldn't agree more with you Charlie! Wow they sure can bash away about her catch, sheeesh. Jealousey in it's entirety is what I read on the link. Their talking about 65# braided line and not being record quality is bullcrap. She caught a monster fish and that's that. ;D

It wouldnt matter if she wasnt competeing against other anglers in the Dream boat contest. But since she apparently is then it matters allot. A few years back my friend Craig seemed to have that dream boat contest wrapped up and then all of a sudden some guy no one ever heard of started entering all these monster fish and stole the boat from Craig in my opinion. He was going to win another boat the next year and as I recall they disqualified him from the tourny. as apparently it was found that he was cheating with the aid of some commercial fishermen. But the boat from the previous year was still his though.. It sucked for my friend Craig who fishes every day and put in alot of time to win that boat honestly.
If this gal wins the dream boat they need to give a polygraph or something. If she did it right she should care. My 2cents |
