Default Floor drain fix?

I am thinking about installing these in my V-20 and filling in the existing floor drains. *I think that these might solve the problem of water comming in through the drains when at rest in choppy water. They should end up 3-4 inches higher in the boat, above floor level.

I figure I would try it with the existing thru hulls in the sides of the boat, if water still comes in, I will relocate the thru hulls to the splashwell like on Hammers PJ.

Any thoughts?
